What is this about?
193 countries worldwide, including yours, have agreed to achieve 17 essential Sustainable Develoment Goals by 2030 – a huge global undertaking. Here at The GLobal Academy our contribution to this ambitious programme is a platform for researchers to show how their work is helping to achieve the goals. We know that researchers around the world are already working on all 17 goals, and their 169 underlying targets, and our website will show how and where they are making progress. Importantly, the database we build will also identify where there are academic partnership opportunities, and where there are gaps in the research.Researchers from many countries have already used our website to idenitify ‘their’ goals. You can join them and create your own researcher page.Why are the Global Goals important?
These 17 goals have the power to end poverty, fight inequality and stop climate change so we can survive on planet earth.
