Phiwe Nota is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Health Economics and HIV and AIDS Research Division (HEARD) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, South Africa. She is an emerging researcher with interests in Public Health Communications, her research interests have been specific to adolescent girls and young women (AGYW) and health, particularly on HIV prevention technologies for young women. Nota has worked on qualitative studies, these include exploring women’s preferences of HIV prevention technologies, and the development of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials. She has also worked for and with several organisations; FHI360, CAPRISA and UNFPA.
