Wood festival has been an annual event at at Braziers Park in Oxfordshire since 2008. It’s a busy family-friendly weekend of music, creativity and nature. This year, for the first time, it includes our ‘Run the World’ simulation game on Saturday morning.

We are so excited about this. We’ll be playing ‘Run the World’ first thing on Saturday morning, May 16th, probably in one of the big tents. Full programme details will come soon.

If you would like to be a part of this, AND enjoy the rest of the music, activities and environment there are still some tickets left. Weekend ‘early bird’ weekend spots are now all taken but day passes should still be available closer to the date. We may ask ticket holders to reserve their spaces for the ‘Run the World’ game session on Saturday morning, because we can only accommodate 48 players. (If more people want to join we may arrange a second session on Sunday, but that is not yet certain.)

. . . and there’s more
On Sunday we are running a smaller games session playing ‘Higher and Lower’ and a sustainability flavoured version of ‘Hive Mind’ (or ‘Herd Mentality’) . These are simpler games for a smaller group and we’ll be playing in the Teen Den. Full programme details soon.

The ‘Run the World’ simulation game will be totally off-line and unplugged. Festival regulars won’t notice this but for those who have taken part in one of our indoor workshops it may be a surprise! It will be the same format you have enjoyed but differently introduced. The energy and discoveries will be everything you have come to expect, and perhaps even more, but the stories will be different.
Looking forward to meeting lots of new World Leaders at Wood Festival in May, and to playing our simulation game ‘Outdoors and Unplugged’ once again.
May 16th 2026 can’t come soon enough
