Research Focus

My research focuses on the study and management of groundwater and its complex interactions with surface water. My research spans the disciplinary boundaries of hydrogeology, environmental science, and water resource management, offering an interdisciplinary perspective on water-related challenges.

My research utilises a range of tools and approaches, including the use of heat as a groundwater tracer, the use of various isotopes, numerical modelling, and, increasingly, the use of Python to process large hydrological datasets. More recently, my research has focused on the impacts of climate change and the use of environmental DNA.
