Sustainability has been of importance since long. It is a multidimensional concept involving the individual behavior, governance structures, integrated sustainability within organizations [2], design of the products, design for sustainability [3]. The UNDP has adopted the (SDG)s Sustainable development goals which work towards creating a more sustainable world & environment to function in by 2030. They are also called as Global Goals, are a Universal call to action & work towards achieving global peace and prosperity. [1] Design for sustainability has been an active understanding via the various concepts of Green Design, Eco Design, EDD Emotionally durable design & DfSB Design for sustainable behaviour. [3] CTC Cradle to Cradle design has been recently made aware to the consumers and the understanding is not completely established.

There is an attempt towards actually designing sustainable products along with being marketed as sustainable products. This study will be understanding the consumer behavior of such products. About the products which are termed as sustainable by their marketeers. Following the Eco-design directive by EC in 2005 there has been a surge in understanding the need of creating sustainable products.
