I am a geoscience PhD candidate at the University of Plymouth, having graduated from Imperial College London with a Master’s degree in Geology (2017). My research focus is on the evolution of landscapes, in particular river landscapes in mountains. I have experienced research environments in several countries, including the Netherlands, Australia, Denmark and the UK and I am interested in applying my research to global development. I am the editor and a contributing author for the Geology for Global Development blog, an organisation raising the profile of international development in the geoscience community. I am also the geoscience editor for science-discussion aggregator ScienceSeeker. I have written a series of articles on the future of geoscience applications in relation to the rise of globalisation in the Impakter Magazine.
