Michael C. Dreiling is Department Head and Professor of Sociology at the University of Oregon where he specializes in political and environmental sociology. He is author of two books, numerous research articles, and is presently working on a book on Dirty Energy. His documentary film series with Matthew Eddy began with the award-winning feature documentary on Costa Rica’s happy, healthy and demilitarized social democratic society – A Bold Peace.
