Research Focus

My research area is under the domain of micro-biotechnology, soil-microbiology & Sustainable agriculture, primarily based on exploring & formulating the microbial consortium for photostimulation of crops, biodegradation of pesticides, and integrated pest & disease management to provide a sustainable solution for agriculture sustainability.
Exploring Research Area:
#Exploration of Plant-microbe interaction for crop improvement and management
#Formulation of microbial Consortia as plant probiotics and remediation of pesticides for Sustainable Agriculture and pest & disease management
#Ecological assessment of biotoxicity of agro-chemical hazards towards plant growth-promoting activities of beneficial soil microorganism
#Impact of agro-chemical hazards on soil microbiota

  • Development of efficient Microbial Consortia for Pesticide Degradation and Plant Growth Promotion of Agricultural Crops,
  • Studies on synergistically performing of entomopathogens fungi (EPF) and PGPM for biodegradation of organophosphate insecticide and management of thrips (Thrips tabaci) and purple blotch in onion (Allium cepa) under the agro-climatic conditions of Maharashtra, India.
