Research Focus

My research has historically focused on improving mental health, especially in the context of obsessive compulsive and related disorders. My extensive work on understanding the mechanisms that lead to hoarding disorder has highlighted that values, motives, object attachment, and emotion regulation abilities contribute to overconsumption. I am now using this knowledge to promote pro-environmental behaviour among the general community.
